Senior Software Engineer, DBaaS
Job Summary
A company is looking for a Senior Software Engineer, DBaas - US Federal.
Key Responsibilities
- Architect, design, develop, and manage DBaaS services for database infrastructure
- Design and develop APIs to enhance database availability, scalability, and performance across multiple clouds
- Provide support for large-scale database instances and participate in on-call rotation for database infrastructure
Required Qualifications
- 8+ years of experience with MySQL, PostgreSQL, CloudSQL, and other cloud-native databases
- 4+ years of backend development experience using languages such as Golang, Python, or Java
- 4+ years of experience with cloud hyperscalers like AWS, Google Cloud, or Microsoft Azure
- 5+ years of experience in modern DevOps technologies and container orchestration
- BS/MS degree in computer science
