Senior Software Engineer, DBaaS

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Senior Software Engineer, DBaas - US Federal.

Key Responsibilities

• Architect, design, develop, and manage DBaaS services for database infrastructure
• Design and develop APIs to enhance the availability, scalability, and performance of databases across multiple clouds
• Provide support for large-scale database instances and participate in on-call rotation for database infrastructure

Required Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience with MySQL, PostgreSQL, CloudSQL, and other cloud-native databases
• 4+ years of backend development experience using modern programming languages (Golang, Python, Java)
• 4+ years of hands-on experience with cloud hyperscalers (AWS, Google Cloud, Microsoft Azure)
• 4+ years of experience managing clustered, highly-available database services on Linux
• Minimum 5+ years of experience with modern DevOps technologies and container orchestration (Kubernetes, Docker)
