Senior Software Engineer, ERP

Job Summary

Seeking a highly skilled Senior Software Engineer, ERP (Data & Domain) for a full-time remote position, responsible for designing and implementing the canonical data model for Vultr's ERP transformation, building internal APIs, and refactoring existing code to establish clean domain boundaries.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and implement the canonical data model for Vultr's control plane ERP transformation
• Build and maintain internal APIs and event streams for Finance, Analytics, and downstream systems
• Refactor existing code to establish clean domain boundaries and implement data upgrade paths from legacy schemas

Required Qualifications

• 5+ years of backend engineering experience with a focus on data modeling and domain-driven design
• 5+ years of experience with PHP
• Experience building or significantly refactoring a billing, accounting, or ERP-adjacent system
• Strong SQL and schema design skills, including knowledge of normalization and denormalization
• Familiarity with domain-driven design patterns such as aggregates and bounded contexts
