Job Summary

Seeking a remote Senior Software Engineer II with a focus on AI-native experimentation and machine learning, who will design and build high-quality APIs and services for experimentation platforms and recommendation systems while collaborating with AI tools to enhance engineering workflows.

Key responsibilities:

• Design and implement reliable and performant APIs and services for experimentation and personalization systems
• Utilize AI tools as a core part of the development process, orchestrating agents for coding, testing, and reviews
• Establish and document AI-native engineering practices and workflows for the broader engineering organization

Required qualifications:

• 6+ years of backend software engineering experience
• Strong proficiency in Java and Spring Boot
• Experience with distributed streaming platforms like Apache Kafka
• Solid understanding of distributed systems concepts
• At least 1 year of hands-on experience with large language models (LLMs)
