Senior Software Engineer - IMS

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Senior Software Engineer - IMS TM/DB Application Programmer.

Key Responsibilities

• Architect and develop IMS TM/DB-compatible technologies, ensuring alignment with core IMS concepts
• Apply deep IMS domain expertise to model real-world application scenarios and guide feature development
• Provide technical leadership by mentoring engineers and conducting technical reviews for performance tuning

Required Qualifications

• 10+ years of professional software engineering experience with senior-level ownership of complex systems
• Hands-on experience developing or maintaining IMS TM and DB applications on IBM z/OS
• Deep knowledge of IMS architecture, including PSBs, PCBs, DBD structures, and DL/I calls
• Strong proficiency in C, C++, or similar systems programming languages
• Experience in delivering high-availability, mission-critical software systems
