Senior Software Engineer in Test

Job Summary

To lead quality engineering efforts for a cybersecurity platform, the Senior Software Engineer in Test will design and implement test strategies, develop automated testing frameworks, and validate integrations while working remotely in the Eastern Time Zone on a long-term contract basis.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement automated testing frameworks for web applications, APIs, and data pipelines
• Develop and execute automated regression, integration, and performance test suites to ensure workflow validation and data integrity
• Collaborate with engineering teams to establish quality gates in CI/CD pipelines and mentor engineers on automation best practices

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field
• 5+ years of experience in Software Testing, Quality Engineering, or SDET roles
• Proven experience creating and implementing a test automation framework from scratch
• Strong programming experience with Python, TypeScript, JavaScript, Java, or C#
• Hands-on experience with Selenium, Playwright, Cypress, and cloud platforms such as Azure or AWS
