Senior Software Engineer in Test
Job Summary
Leading quality engineering efforts, the Senior Software Engineer in Test will design and implement test strategies and automated testing frameworks for a cybersecurity platform, working remotely in the Eastern Time Zone on a long-term contract basis.
Key responsibilities
- Design and implement automated testing frameworks for web applications, APIs, and data pipelines
- Develop and validate automated regression, integration, and performance test suites while ensuring data integrity
- Collaborate with engineering teams to establish quality gates within CI/CD pipelines and mentor engineers on best practices
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field
- 5+ years of experience in Software Testing, Quality Engineering, or SDET roles
- Proven experience creating and implementing a test automation framework from scratch
- Strong programming experience with Python, TypeScript, JavaScript, Java, or C#
- Hands-on experience with Selenium, Playwright, Cypress, and cloud platforms like Azure or AWS
