Senior Software Engineer in Test

Job Summary

To enhance the reliability of genomic technology, the full-time remote Senior Software Engineer in Test will design, implement, and maintain custom test frameworks for primary analysis software while collaborating with development teams to adapt tests based on new software changes.

Key responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain custom test frameworks for analysis software
• Identify gaps in existing tests and develop new tests to improve reliability and coverage
• Investigate test failures and collaborate with developers to diagnose root causes

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science, Engineering, Bioinformatics, or a related field
• 5+ years of professional experience developing production-quality software code and tests
• Experience with Python or C# for developing production-quality code
• Familiarity with CI/CD tools and workflows
• Prior background in writing and maintaining automation for complex systems
