Senior Software Engineer in Test
Job Summary
To support a global technology company, the contract remote Senior Software Engineer in Test will lead the quality strategy, test automation, and validation efforts for a platform focused on Common Criteria certification programs, while being based locally in the Raleigh Triangle Park area.
Key responsibilities
- Design and implement the overall test strategy for a Common Criteria program management platform
- Develop and maintain automated test frameworks for web applications, APIs, backend services, and data pipelines
- Build automated regression, integration, functional, and end-to-end test suites, validating integrations with external systems
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field
- 5+ years of experience in software testing, quality engineering, or SDET roles
- Experience creating a test automation framework from scratch and leading as the sole SDET
- Strong programming experience with Python, TypeScript, JavaScript, Java, or C#
- Hands-on experience with automated testing frameworks and REST API testing methodologies
