Senior Software Engineer in Testing

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Senior Software Engineer Test.

Key Responsibilities

• Understand and implement software quality best practices, including test strategy, test case development, and defect tracking
• Collaborate with product management and development teams to translate requirements into functional QA tests
• Develop and maintain automation test suites, run manual tests, and debug test failures

Required Qualifications

• A minimum of 8 years of QA testing experience on IBM z/OS, IBM CICS, and Linux/Windows
• BE/ME/MTech in Computer Science or relevant industry experience
• Good understanding of IBM CICS applications and basic transactional implementations
• Experience in QA testing with transactional products such as Substation ES and IBM MQ
• Extensive experience in multiplatform messaging and familiarity with UI frameworks and front-end automation tools like Selenium or Cypress
