Senior Software Engineer, macOS

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Senior Software Engineer, Client Applications (macOS) to join their team in Europe.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, implement, and maintain system-level components for macOS in Swift
• Work with Apple's File Provider framework and implement gRPC services and clients
• Integrate with Finder and develop unit and integration tests for automated coverage

Required Qualifications:

• Strong commercial experience with Swift (Swift 5.5 and higher)
• Solid knowledge of macOS internals and Apple framework APIs
• Experience with multithreaded and asynchronous code using Swift structured concurrency
• Familiarity with filesystem behavior and sync/backup clients
• Experience in writing automated tests and debugging on macOS
