Senior Software Engineer, ML
Job Summary
To support the development of unstructured data processing libraries, the full-time Senior System Software Engineer, ML will analyze, design, and implement optimized GPU algorithms for large-scale vector search and machine learning, utilizing C++, CUDA, and Python, in a remote or onsite environment.
Key responsibilities
- Analyze, design, and implement optimized GPU algorithms for vector search and machine learning applications
- Drive performance analysis, benchmarking, and optimization of related libraries
- Collaborate with a multi-functional team to understand requirements and enhance solutions
Required qualifications
- BS, MS, or PhD in Computer Science, Data Science, AI, Applied Math, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
- 8+ years of programming experience in C++ or proficiency in transitioning from a similar language
- Experience with machine learning concepts and algorithm development
- Strong analytical skills with a solid foundation in algorithms and mathematics
- Familiarity with at least one parallel programming or concurrency framework, such as CUDA or OpenMP
