Senior Software Engineer - Networking

Job Summary

To support the development of mission-critical edge systems, the full-time Senior Software Engineer - Networking will design, implement, test, and document network software in LynxOS-178 RTOS, focusing on system security, performance, and interoperability in a remote work environment.

Key responsibilities:

• Architect, design, and implement network protocols and services in an embedded environment
• Develop and maintain software for embedded systems, ensuring real-time performance and reliability
• Conduct thorough network performance analysis and optimization while troubleshooting low-level network and software issues

Required qualifications:

• BS/MS in Computer Science or Electrical Engineering
• 8+ years of relevant experience in software development and networking
• Proficiency in C Programming and BSD/POSIX sockets programming
• Experience with networking protocols such as TCP, UDP, IPv6, and IPSec
• Familiarity with at least one RTOS or Linux kernel space development
