Senior Software Engineer - Payroll

Job Summary

In a remote capacity, the full-time Senior Software Engineer - Payroll will manage payroll configurations, calculation logic, and system integrations to ensure accurate and reliable payroll operations while collaborating with cross-functional teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Configure and maintain Employee Central Payroll, including payroll controls and compliance documentation
• Partner with Payroll Operations and Tax to manage payroll rules, troubleshoot calculation issues, and ensure compliance with tax regulations
• Support integrations between payroll systems and external vendors, resolving any related issues that arise

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in information systems, computer science, accounting, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience
• Seven or more years of experience supporting enterprise payroll systems with hands-on configuration responsibility
• Demonstrated experience in Employee Central Payroll configuration or strong SAP ECC payroll configuration experience
• Deep knowledge of U.S. payroll, including multi-state taxation and compliance requirements
• Experience troubleshooting payroll integrations and interface errors across connected systems
