Senior Software Engineer, Rust

Job Summary

To support the development of the OP Stack, the full-time Senior Software Engineer, Rust will own features through their entire lifecycle, build rigorous tests, and execute protocol upgrades while working remotely.

Key responsibilities

• Own features from architecture to deployment and monitoring, collaborating cross-functionally for maximum impact
• Build rigorous conformance and adversarial tests to ensure compatibility of implementations
• Execute safe protocol upgrades and troubleshoot complex availability and performance issues

Required qualifications

• Professional experience shipping production software and maintainable Rust systems
• Deep knowledge of Ethereum, including EVM, JSON-RPC, and distributed systems
• Ability to navigate ambiguity and effectively communicate complex design decisions
• Familiarity with op-node, kona, or Reth implementations is preferred
• Proficiency in Solidity for system-level smart contracts is a bonus
