Senior Software Engineer, Security

Job Summary

Seeking a full-time remote Senior Software Engineer, Security who will focus on product and infrastructure security, ensuring secure money movement and building automation for continuous risk assessment while reporting directly to the CTO.

Key Responsibilities

• Threat model the paths that move money and participate in design reviews for all related projects
• Build secure-by-default infrastructure and a just-in-time, least-privilege access system for cloud access
• Own application security across new and existing systems, implementing automated checks and secure defaults

Required Qualifications

• Strong software engineering experience in languages such as Python, Go, or TypeScript
• Hands-on cloud infrastructure experience with AWS or GCP, Terraform, and CI/CD pipelines
• Practical experience in threat modeling and managing inbound vulnerability reports
• Experience with secrets management and service-to-service authorization
• Clear written communication skills, with a focus on documentation and collaboration
