Senior Software Engineering Manager

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Senior Manager, Software Engineering - Lead Platform.

Key Responsibilities

• Encourage innovation and experimentation with new technologies within the team
• Collaborate with other directors and tech leads to validate feature proposals and drive system improvements
• Develop engineers through personal development plans and actively recruit talented engineers

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or Engineering or 3 years of equivalent experience
• 3+ years of experience managing high-performance engineering teams
• Experience developing modern, high traffic applications and backend services, preferably with Node/TypeScript
• Strong understanding of project management software, preferably Jira
• Experience in Agile environments with a strong grasp of SDLC and continuous delivery
