Senior Software Engineering Manager

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Senior Software Engineering Manager to lead their engineering team focused on core cloud computing orchestration.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop technical excellence and leadership within a high-performing engineering team
• Scale and extend the core job orchestration engine utilizing VM and Kubernetes-based compute
• Drive alignment across engineering, product, and customer-facing teams on product delivery and architecture

Required Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience managing high-performing Software Engineering teams of 3-10 people
• Technical proficiency at least to Senior Engineer level in scalable distributed systems
• Hands-on experience with AI tools in the software development lifecycle
• Production experience with major cloud platforms (AWS or Azure) and familiarity with managed Kubernetes
• Experience managing a SaaS system with meaningful on-call ownership and incident command
