Senior Software Engineering Manager

Job Summary

Leading a high-performing engineering team, the full-time Senior Software Engineering Manager will drive the strategy and execution of Document Automation initiatives, ensuring alignment with business goals while working in a hybrid, remote-friendly environment.

Key responsibilities

• Shape and execute the long-term engineering strategy for PatternBuilder initiatives, collaborating with Product and Architecture leaders
• Manage and mentor engineers, fostering a culture of trust and continuous improvement while overseeing hiring and performance management
• Partner with cross-functional teams to define priorities and present technical strategies to senior leadership

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (advanced degree preferred)
• 7+ years of software engineering experience, including 3+ years in engineering management roles
• Proven experience managing multiple teams or a group of 7+ engineers and leaders
• Strong experience leading distributed, cloud-based product development (Azure or AWS)
• Deep understanding of modern engineering practices such as CI/CD, microservices, and scalable architectures
