Senior Software Engineering Manager

Job Summary

Leading a team of backend engineers, the full-time Senior Software Engineering Manager will be responsible for the end-to-end design and delivery of API applications using Java on the cloud, focusing on enhancing the developer experience for external partners in a hybrid work environment.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee the development and delivery of high-quality API applications while managing co-located and remote engineering teams
• Collaborate closely with product teams to align on customer needs and execute major product releases
• Drive innovation and ensure adherence to company standards, including automated testing and code quality

Required qualifications

• Proven experience in leading backend engineering teams and delivering cloud-based API applications using Java
• Strong background in mentoring engineers and managing team performance and career development
• Experience in collaborating with cross-functional teams to prioritize and execute development schedules
• Ability to manage Tech OKRs and improve metrics continuously
• Hands-on experience in software design and alignment with architectural strategies
