Senior Software Engineering Manager

Job Summary

Leading a team of software engineers and QA professionals, the remote Senior Software Engineering Manager will drive the delivery of high-quality software solutions, foster a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement, and shape the technical direction of the organization.

Key responsibilities

• Manage, mentor, and develop high-performing teams while defining hiring strategies to meet organizational goals
• Own the delivery of scalable software features and enhancements, ensuring adherence to engineering standards and best practices
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define roadmap priorities and influence technical and product direction

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience
• 5+ years of software development experience with 4+ years in a technical leadership or engineering management role
• Deep hands-on expertise with modern programming languages and frameworks (e.g., Java, JavaScript/React, Python)
• Experience designing and delivering large-scale, distributed systems with strong knowledge of system architecture
• Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, or GCP) and modern CI/CD pipelines
