Senior Software Engineering Manager

Job Summary

Leading a team of software engineers, the full-time Senior Software Engineering Manager will drive the technical direction of SunStrong's Salesforce platform, overseeing architecture, design, and team development in a remote environment.

Key responsibilities

• Serves as the engineering lead for cross-functional teams supporting the Salesforce platform
• Leads and mentors a team of Salesforce software engineers, facilitating their professional growth
• Oversees architectural and design decisions while promoting best practices and high-quality code standards

Required qualifications

• Minimum of 8+ years of software development experience, including 3+ years in a leadership role
• Deep hands-on experience with the Salesforce ecosystem and integration with custom and third-party applications
• Experience leveraging AI tooling to enhance application quality and delivery
• Strong knowledge of Apex, LWC, SOQL, and Salesforce metadata model
• Proven experience with integration design, including REST/SOAP and error handling
