Senior Software Engineering Manager

Job Summary

Overseeing a team of software engineers, the full-time Senior Software Engineering Manager will provide technical coaching, manage project adherence, and collaborate across departments to drive technology solutions in a remote environment.

Key responsibilities

• Manages and develops a large engineering team, fostering accountability and collaboration to achieve team success
• Ensures adherence to project plans and reports on progress while directing all phases of the Agile software development life cycle
• Participates in architectural designs and infrastructure deployment of a Cloud-based platform, assessing risks and promoting best practices

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or equivalent
• 8+ years of software development experience
• 2+ years of leadership experience over a software development team
• Strong experience with Agile development methodologies
• Advanced knowledge of Object Oriented Programming techniques, particularly in Java
