Senior Software Engineering Manager

Job Summary

Leading the developer tools team, the full-time Senior Software Engineering Manager will manage the creation of SDKs for quantum computers, engage with the developer community, and provide technical expertise while working onsite in Bothell, WA with some remote flexibility.

Key responsibilities:

• Lead a team of software engineers to develop SDKs and libraries for quantum computing
• Contribute to the codebase as a player-coach while ensuring best practices through code reviews
• Drive the delivery of key programs and initiatives in collaboration with cross-functional partners

Required qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Physics, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience
• 6+ years of hands-on technical leadership and people management experience
• 5+ years of open source contributions
• 3+ years of programming experience in Python
• Experience building SDKs, particularly for hybrid cloud environments
