Senior Software Engineering Manager

Job Summary

Leading a critical engineering area within a fraud detection platform, the full-time Senior Software Engineering Manager will manage and mentor a team of engineers to build and operate scalable, high-performance services while collaborating with cross-functional teams in a remote environment.

Key responsibilities

• Lead strategy, execution, and daily operations for a key Protect domain, focusing on reliability and delivery quality
• Manage and grow a team of engineers, fostering a culture of ownership and continuous improvement
• Collaborate with Product, Research, and engineering teams to prioritize work and deliver scalable solutions

Required qualifications

• 6+ years of experience in software, platform, or cloud engineering with leadership responsibilities
• Strong hands-on experience with distributed systems in AWS and/or GCP, including Kubernetes and CI/CD practices
• Proven ability to lead engineering teams and improve processes for reliable production systems
• Technical grounding in modern backend engineering and operational excellence
• Experience in fraud prevention, authentication, or related security products is a plus
