Senior Software QA Engineer

Job Summary

Responsible for Quality Assurance (QA) testing in a full-time remote capacity, the Senior Software QA Engineer will perform manual test execution to ensure software solutions meet business requirements and quality standards while collaborating with development teams throughout the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).

Key responsibilities

• Collaborates with development teams and project managers to understand requirements and provide feedback on design documents and acceptance criteria
• Creates and executes detailed test plans and test cases, ensuring systematic and effective testing activities
• Identifies, documents, and reports defects, working directly with the development team on bug fixes and re-testing

Required qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of related experience with a bachelor's degree, or 3 years with a master's degree, or a PhD without experience
• Understanding of Testing Methodologies/Best Practices and experience in Agile methodologies
• Proficiency in SQL, Azure DevOps Services, APIs, and Excel
• Working knowledge of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and experience in producing QA documentation
• Ability to multi-task and work in a dynamic environment with changing priorities
