Senior Software QA Engineer

Job Summary

To enhance IT Applications Testing Shared Services, the full-time remote Senior Software QA Engineer will be responsible for systems testing, collaborating with development teams, and designing reusable automation tests while mentoring team members and improving the automation framework.

Key responsibilities

• Analyze and review system requirements, design test strategies, and execute test cases while managing overall test activities
• Lead proof-of-concept research for new tools and implement approved solutions to improve testing processes
• Develop and maintain automation frameworks and test scripts using Selenium and programming languages such as Python or Java

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in information technology, computer science, statistics, or a related field, with 5+ years of relevant experience
• Hands-on experience in automation testing for complex web-based projects, preferably in the healthcare industry
• Proficiency in coding with Python or Java and experience with Selenium WebDriver
• Experience in testing web services and applications using REST APIs and tools like Postman
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and AWS fundamentals for test development and execution
