Senior Software QA Engineer

Job Summary

To ensure the quality of Smart TV and Set Top Box platforms, the full-time Senior Software QA Engineer will take ownership of firmware validation, lead verification of functional issues, and coordinate testing activities across distributed teams in a hybrid work environment.

Key responsibilities

• Drive firmware validation before Mainboard Mass Production, impacting production readiness of Smart TV devices
• Lead verification and analysis of functional issues reported by APAC partners, including root cause identification
• Coordinate release activities, including build verification and change log preparation, while mentoring less experienced engineers

Required qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience in Software Testing
• Strong understanding of QA processes and methodologies
• Experience with embedded systems, including Smart TVs or Set Top Boxes
• Proficiency in English and knowledge of Chinese
• Located in Taiwan with a valid visa to stay
