Senior Software QA Engineer
Job Summary
Working remotely, the full-time Senior Software QA Engineer will ensure the quality, reliability, and performance of software applications by developing comprehensive testing strategies and collaborating with cross-functional teams throughout the software development lifecycle.
Key responsibilities
- Develop and maintain comprehensive test plans, strategies, and cases aligned with project requirements
- Design, write, and execute test cases for various testing types, including functional and user acceptance testing
- Identify, document, and track software defects using Jira, ensuring clear communication with development teams
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in software quality assurance and testing
- Experience with testing methodologies, including functional, regression, and performance testing
- Proficiency in using Application Lifecycle Management (ALM) tools for documenting test scenarios
- Solid understanding of Agile/Scrum development practices and experience in sprint-based workflows
