Senior Software Quality Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Senior Software Quality Engineer.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and own quality strategies for features and releases, balancing manual and automated testing based on risk and complexity
• Embed within scrum teams to contribute to requirement reviews, design discussions, and testability decisions from the start of each sprint
• Build and maintain automated test coverage across API, UI, and integration layers while identifying and prioritizing testing based on real-world usage patterns

Required Qualifications

• 8 or more years of quality engineering experience with a track record of owning quality outcomes across the development lifecycle
• Proven experience partnering with developers in an embedded model to influence code quality
• Solid automation engineering skills including API, UI, and integration testing
• Experience with CI/CD quality integration, focusing on test reliability and actionable reporting
• Ability to analyze defect patterns and translate findings into systemic recommendations
