Senior Software Quality Engineer

Job Summary

Building and evolving quality platforms, the full-time Senior Software Quality Engineer will enhance the Horizon platform by creating automated testing systems, developer tooling, and improving CI/CD processes, all while working remotely.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain quality infrastructure, automation, and developer tooling to improve software release confidence
• Collaborate on solution design and quality strategy, defining testable acceptance criteria and coaching Software Engineers on effective quality practices
• Continuously analyze and improve engineering systems and user experience metrics, exploring new ideas and reducing operational toil through automation

Required qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in building and maintaining quality platforms and automated testing systems for production software
• Strong understanding of software quality, including testing, observability, and application performance
• Experience designing automated testing frameworks and CI/CD quality gates
• Proficient in using production telemetry and application performance monitoring tools to identify quality improvements
• Hands-on experience with AI-assisted development workflows and a demonstrated ability to drive quality initiatives independently
