Senior Software Quality Engineer

Job Summary

Owning the test strategy and framework development, the full-time Senior Software Quality Engineer will lead automated testing efforts across a fast-paced codebase, ensuring product reliability and quality in a remote work environment.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the design, development, and maintenance of automated test frameworks for backend services and UI
• Drive test strategy across services and features, ensuring comprehensive coverage aligned with product goals
• Collaborate with engineering and product teams to advocate for testability and define quality standards early in the development process

Required qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in QA or software testing, including 2+ years at a senior or staff level
• Strong programming skills in Go, Python, or JavaScript for building automation and tooling
• Experience integrating automated test suites into CI/CD pipelines using tools like GitHub Actions or Jenkins
• Familiarity with Kubernetes environments and distributed systems
• Proven ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-moving startup environment
