Senior Software Security Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Software Security Engineer, Senior to support Operations & Maintenance and new development efforts for a federal government client.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform ongoing security testing and code review to enhance software security
• Troubleshoot and debug security-related issues
• Provide engineering designs for new software solutions to mitigate security vulnerabilities

Required Qualifications, Training, and Education

• Bachelor's degree in a related STEM field and 7 years of IT security experience, or 11 years of IT security experience without a degree
• Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) or equivalent certification
• AWS Certified Solutions Architect Professional or AWS Certified DevOps Engineer Professional
• Agile development experience
• Experience with DevOpsSec pipeline tools and security control assessments
