Senior Software Security Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Senior Software Security Engineer to shape and execute application and infrastructure security practices.

Key Responsibilities

• Embed with engineering teams to co-develop security-critical features and provide guidance on secure design
• Lead the design and rollout of a developer-focused Secure SDLC with actionable security gates
• Develop and maintain secure libraries and frameworks, and support a security champion network within engineering teams

Required Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in software/application security, preferably in startups or fintech environments
• Deep knowledge of web application security, secure software design, and threat modeling
• Experience with integrating security into CI/CD pipelines and using security scanning tools
• Familiarity with compliance frameworks such as SOC 2, GLBA, PCI-DSS, and cloud-native security
• Strong coding background in languages like Node.js, Python, or Go
