Senior Software Test Engineer

Job Summary

Working remotely on a full-time basis, the Senior Software Test Engineer will perform application development and testing, focusing on automation frameworks, continuous integration, and quality assurance throughout the software development lifecycle.

Key responsibilities

• Participates in the software development life cycle, producing quality code and conducting impact analysis to enhance regression test suites
• Writes and executes application tests at the source code level, integrating white box test suites with continuous integration tools
• Develops software tools and frameworks for validation and end-to-end functional testing, ensuring integration with CI tools for frequent execution

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Software Engineering, Information Systems, or a related technical field; additional experience may be considered in lieu of a degree
• Typically a minimum of 6 years of relevant experience in software testing, coding, designing, and developing
• Experience developing automated testing strategies in various environments and frameworks is preferred
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies such as Scrum and Kanban
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, C#, Perl, Python, or SQL
