Senior Software Test Engineer

Job Summary

Seeking a full-time Senior Software Test Engineer, this remote position will develop and execute test plans, conduct tests on software and IT systems, and document test results to ensure high-quality deliverables meet organizational standards.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute comprehensive test plans, test cases, and procedures for software and IT systems
• Lead testing efforts and perform verification activities to ensure systems operate correctly and are free from defects
• Document and communicate test results, support analysis of outcomes, and resolve open issues effectively

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field
• 10 or more years of experience in software testing and quality assurance
• Strong programming skills in languages such as C#, Java, or Python
• Experience with both manual and automated testing, including familiarity with test automation frameworks
• Proficiency in Agile/Scrum methodologies and understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC)
