Senior Software Test Engineer

Job Summary

Seeking a full-time Senior Software Test Engineer, the position focuses on developing and executing test plans and procedures to ensure software quality and compliance, while working remotely and requiring strong programming skills in languages such as C#, Java, or Python.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test procedures for software and IT systems
• Lead testing efforts, document results, and communicate findings to stakeholders while supporting issue resolution
• Apply technical principles to devise improvements and ensure high-quality deliverables across complex software projects

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field
• 10 or more years of experience in software testing and quality assurance
• Strong programming skills in C#, Java, or Python
• Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies and the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC)
• Proficiency in writing and executing test cases, scripts, and plans, along with knowledge of test automation frameworks
