Senior Software Test Engineer

Job Summary

Seeking a full-time Senior Software Test Engineer to work remotely, who will develop and execute test plans, lead testing efforts, and ensure software quality for Veterans Affairs projects while maintaining strong programming skills in languages such as C#, Java, or Python.

Key responsibilities:

• Develop and execute comprehensive test plans, cases, and procedures to meet organizational standards
• Lead testing activities and document results, providing analysis and solutions for identified issues
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure effective communication and problem resolution

Required qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field
• 10 or more years of experience in software testing and quality assurance
• Strong programming skills in languages such as C#, Java, or Python
• Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies and the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC)
• Proficiency in writing and executing test cases, scripts, and plans, along with knowledge of test automation frameworks
