Senior Software Test Engineer

Job Summary

Working remotely in a full-time capacity, the Senior Software Test Engineer will develop and execute test plans, conduct software testing, and ensure high-quality deliverables for complex software projects, while collaborating with cross-functional teams.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute comprehensive test plans, cases, and procedures to validate software functionality and performance
• Lead testing efforts and document results, providing analysis and resolution for identified issues
• Mentor junior testers and contribute to continuous improvement of testing processes and methodologies

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field
• 10 or more years of experience in software testing and quality assurance
• Strong programming skills in languages such as C#, Java, or Python
• Experience with both manual and automated testing, including test automation frameworks and tools
• Proficiency in Agile/Scrum methodologies and understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC)
