Senior Software Test Engineer

Job Summary

Experienced in software testing, the full-time Senior Software Test Engineer will develop and execute test plans and procedures, ensuring high-quality deliverables while working remotely in support of Veterans Affairs projects.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute comprehensive test plans, cases, and procedures to meet organizational standards
• Perform and lead testing of software and IT systems, ensuring proper operation and defect-free performance
• Document test results and support the analysis and resolution of open issues

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field
• 10 or more years of experience in software testing and quality assurance
• Strong programming skills in languages such as C#, Java, or Python
• Proficiency in both manual and automated testing, including experience with test automation frameworks
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies and the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC)
