Senior Software Test Engineer

Job Summary

Seeking a full-time Senior Software Test Engineer to work remotely, who will develop and execute test plans, conduct software testing, and ensure high-quality deliverables for Veterans Affairs projects.

Key responsibilities:

• Develop and execute comprehensive test plans, cases, and procedures to meet organizational standards
• Lead testing activities and document results while collaborating with project stakeholders
• Analyze test results, resolve issues, and provide technical solutions for complex problems

Required qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field
• 10 or more years of experience in software testing and quality assurance
• Strong programming skills in languages such as C#, Java, or Python
• Experience with both manual and automated testing, including test automation frameworks
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies and the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC)
