Senior Software Test Engineer

Job Summary

Experienced in software testing, the full-time Senior Software Test Engineer will develop and execute test plans, conduct verification activities, and document test results while working remotely in support of Veterans Affairs.

Key responsibilities:

• Develop and execute comprehensive test plans, cases, and procedures to ensure software quality
• Lead testing efforts for software and IT systems, ensuring proper operation and defect-free performance
• Document and communicate test results, supporting analysis and resolution of open issues

Required qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field
• 10 or more years of experience in software testing and quality assurance
• Strong programming skills in languages such as C#, Java, or Python
• Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies and the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC)
• Proficiency in writing and executing test cases, scripts, and plans, along with knowledge of test automation tools
