Senior Software Test Engineer

Job Summary

Experienced in software testing, the full-time Senior Software Test Engineer will develop and execute test plans and cases, ensuring systems meet organizational standards, while working remotely and requiring a Public Trust security clearance.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute comprehensive test plans, cases, and procedures to validate software and IT systems
• Lead testing efforts, document results, and communicate findings to stakeholders for resolution of issues
• Support continuous improvement initiatives by analyzing testing processes and creating metrics for performance tracking

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field
• 10 or more years of experience in software testing and quality assurance
• Strong programming skills in languages such as C#, Java, or Python
• Proficiency in both manual and automated testing, including experience with test automation frameworks
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies and the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC)
