Senior Software Test Engineer

Job Summary

Seeking an experienced Senior Software Test Engineer for a full-time remote position, responsible for developing and executing test plans, conducting software tests, and ensuring high-quality deliverables in alignment with organizational standards.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test procedures for software and IT systems
• Lead testing efforts and document results while collaborating with project stakeholders to resolve issues
• Create daily test metrics and reporting, and contribute to continuous improvement of testing processes

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field
• 10 or more years of experience in software testing and quality assurance
• Strong programming skills in languages such as C#, Java, or Python
• Experience with both manual and automated testing, including familiarity with testing frameworks and tools
• Proven track record of working on complex software projects and understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies
