Senior Software Test Engineer

Job Summary

Seeking an experienced Senior Software Test Engineer for a full-time remote position, responsible for developing and executing test plans, conducting software tests, and ensuring high-quality deliverables for Veterans Affairs projects.

Key responsibilities:

• Develop and execute comprehensive test plans, cases, and procedures to meet organizational standards
• Lead testing efforts for software and IT systems, ensuring proper operation and defect-free performance
• Document test results and support the analysis and resolution of any identified issues

Required qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field
• 10 or more years of experience in software testing and quality assurance
• Strong programming skills in languages such as C#, Java, or Python
• Proficiency in writing and executing test cases and scripts, with experience in both manual and automated testing
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies and CI/CD tools
