Senior Software Test Engineer

Job Summary

Seeking a full-time Senior Software Test Engineer, this remote position will develop and execute test plans, manage testing processes, and ensure software quality for Veterans Affairs projects, requiring strong programming skills in languages such as C#, Java, or Python.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute comprehensive test plans, cases, and procedures to meet organizational standards
• Lead testing efforts and document results while collaborating with project stakeholders to resolve issues
• Implement test automation frameworks and tools to enhance testing efficiency and effectiveness

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field
• 10 or more years of experience in software testing and quality assurance
• Strong programming skills in languages such as C#, Java, or Python
• Proficiency with test automation tools and frameworks (e.g., Selenium, TestNG)
• Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies and the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC)
