Senior Software Tester

Job Summary

Working remotely, the full-time Senior Software Tester will lead comprehensive testing efforts for a Data Analytics and Business Intelligence platform, focusing on application modernization projects for the Department of Homeland Security.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and execute testing activities across multiple DHS modernization projects, ensuring thorough coverage of requirements
• Design tests, create test data, and establish test procedures while collaborating with Agile teams
• Coordinate defect management activities and support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) to validate software quality

Required qualifications

• Must be a US Citizen and able to obtain a Public Trust
• Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field
• 3+ years of experience as a software tester, including test automation
• Experience in Agile project environments and with continuous integration tools
• Proficient in testing modern web applications built using Angular and/or React
