Senior Software Testing Specialist

Job Summary

Leading the planning, execution, and reporting of test and evaluation activities for complex software systems, the full-time Senior Software Test and Evaluation Specialist will develop test strategies, manage evaluation processes, and ensure compliance with performance and security standards while working remotely.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and manage comprehensive test plans, test cases, and evaluation strategies for software systems
• Lead the execution of functional, performance, regression, integration, and user acceptance testing
• Document, analyze, and report test results, identifying defects, risks, and areas for improvement

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field
• 10+ years of experience in software testing, quality assurance, or evaluation
• DoD 8140 Certification
• Strong understanding of CI/CD pipelines and automated testing integration
• Expertise with testing methodologies, tools, and frameworks (e.g., Selenium, JUnit, TestNG)
