Senior Solution Architect

Job Summary

Seeking a full-time Senior Solution Architect with expertise in Apache Spark and Databricks to lead complex customer engagements remotely, focusing on solution architecture, optimization of large-scale workloads, and mentoring junior engineers.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead customer engagements from discovery to delivery with full ownership and accountability
• Architect, implement, and optimize large-scale Spark/Databricks workloads for scalability and cost-efficiency
• Design and execute proofs of concept and workshops to demonstrate solution vision and build customer confidence

Required Qualifications

• 5-10 years of experience in data engineering or analytics solution delivery
• 3+ years of hands-on expertise with Databricks, including job optimization and workload governance
• Deep understanding of Spark Internals, PySpark, and Databricks SQL performance tuning
• Strong knowledge of Delta Lake, Structured Streaming, and cloud infrastructure
• Proven ability to identify and solve complex technical problems with minimal oversight
