Senior Solutions Architect

Job Summary

To support the Elastic Platform Operations team, the full-time remote Senior Solutions Architect will manage the operation and optimization of modern cloud data platforms, ensuring performance and user satisfaction while collaborating with clients and internal teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Drive the operation, reliability, and continuous improvement of cloud data platforms for enterprise customers
• Translate business and technical requirements into cloud-native data platform architectures and implementation plans
• Provide architectural guidance and operational support for platforms like Snowflake and Amazon Redshift, ensuring timely and valuable delivery

Required Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in modern cloud data platforms, data warehousing, consulting, and data engineering/operations
• Extensive experience with cloud-native data warehouses such as Snowflake and/or Amazon Redshift
• Strong working knowledge of SQL and experience in troubleshooting and performance tuning for cloud data platforms
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience
• Experience delivering projects in a professional services or consulting environment
